\nThe Turkish authorities have already started using the new name ‘T\u00dcRKIYE’ on proofs of origin and movement certificates. They have ensured, however, that Turkish customs offices will continue to accept proofs of origin and movement certificates with the previous designation, considering that it will take some time to adapt to this change.<\/p>\nFollowing the consultations with member states, the EU Council reached an agreement on the use of the new official name of the country ‘T\u00dcRKIYE’ in the customs documentation.<\/p>\n
