“One Thousand and ..One Shipment”<\/h3>\n

In the first six months of 2019, the value of Italy’s exports to Arab countries is 12 billion euros, out of a total interchange of 25 billion. In particular, Lombardy’s exports are worth 3 billion euros (28% of Italian exports), with Milan leading (one and a half billion exports), followed by Cagliari and Vicenza (around half a billion). Arezzo, Bergamo and Brescia exceed 400 million. Among these, Brescia is the city growing more: + 16.6%.<\/p>\n

The data was presented in Milan on the occasion of the third annual Meeting – Italian Arab Business Forum “, organized by the Joint Italian Arab Chamber of Commerce (JIACC), at the Assolombarda auditorium in collaboration with Promos Italia.<\/p>\n

The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia are the major export partners, with 2.2 and 1.6 billion euros respectively.Followed by Tunisia (12.5% of the total), Algeria (10.9%), Egypt (9.5%). Qatar with 698 million, in increase of 38.1% compared to 2018, represents about 6% of exports while Jordan with 248 million represents 2%.
